Invites are capped. The status depends on which cap you hit: 409 when there are too many pending invites, 429 with a Retry-After header when too many invites were created today.

Common causes

• Too many invites still waiting to be accepted
• Too many invites created in one day

How to fix it

Revoke pending invites you no longer need, or wait for the time in Retry-After and try again.

Does it bill?
